BoBunny DT

If you've hung in there this long, you've done well :)  sorry it a been awhile between posts!

This month over at BoBunny Ive had two posts up.  This first one was a double layout using the very cute Happy Tails.

This layout told the story of my dynamic duo not being the typically photographic angels they usually are - just goes to show no ones perfect everyday!

The chipboard is one Ive had for ages waiting for the perfect papers!  from ScrapFx - painted with gesso and then inked with archival ink and stamped.

Ive kept this page page pretty simple and not a flower in sight ;)  using some of the Noteworthy and chipboard collections for my embellishments.  Ive also used one of the 3x4 journalling cards from Happy Tails Misc Me in my layout.

My second project this month was on the blog today, a set of drawers I found on sale at the Warehouse.  I had offered to make something for my sister as part of a fundraising raffle for her Leisure Marching Team.  This is going to be first prize.

I wanted to create my cluster on top with a cascading effect over the side of the box, so Ive used one of my fav dies from Memory Box, to create a 'vine' and then added some butterflies and netting from a BB stamp and lace.

The oval frame is actually part of a double frame, Ive just folded in half and adhered it to the top of the box.  The birdcage is lightly inked with pinecone to create antiqued effect.

For the handles on the drawers I took off the ugly veneers and replaced them with circles from the Noteworthy collection and layered them with jewels.  The punched strip along the bottom drawer is merged in the middle with some BB wash - loving that stuff!

I hope the long wait between posts was worth it! :)
Thanks for popping by!
