BoBunny & Scrapbook Adhesives Blog Hop

Hi Everyone!

This whole week BoBunny have been blog hopping away with Scrapbook Adhesives and there has been some amazing projects, not to mention prizes being shared!

Lately I seem to have been obsessed with scrapping bright colours which is totally a new thing for me, and Im loving the change!  Forever Young is awesomely bright and Ive been working with it a lot lately.
If you've come over from BoBunny's blog you will have already seen my Farewell Mini Album.  If not you can hop back to it here.  :)

This time I have a layout to show you using the same collection, but gone for more of a mixed media background, using stamps, texture paste with the Love stencil, and Glimmer Spray.  Ive also used one of BoBunny's new Lattice frame die, but split the frame so as to have just a corner effect.

With the closeups you can see how I have faintly outlined the hearts from the stencil for a subtle effect, and randomly stamping over the top.

A few drops of Glimmer Spray and some brads add to the effect.  Again I have used Scrapbook Adhesives products - Foam Creative sheets, to 'pop' my photo and the Peace, Love & Hugs banner up. To help with positioning Ive used the Repositional Dots.  These are awesome for fiddling around with your composition until you're happy with placement!

Thanks for popping by and hopping along with us  :)  I have a wee prize for you for hopping here, and don't forget to hop on over to my friend Denise.

Prima meets BoBunny :)

Hi Everyone :)

When I was little my sister and I used to play with our paper dolls.  Do you remember them? - cardboard dolls with paper clothes that had tabs on them to connect them to the dolls?  We loved them and they're one of my favourite memories from my childhood.
Now Prima have brought out their Prima Dolls its almost like childhood all over again!  Ive been playing a wee bit with them, and had a lot fun, either colouring or paper piecing.  Heres a few to show to you.

Here Ive layered the top with foam adhesive to give a bit of dimension and given the wee fella I was sending this to was turning two,  I added the number to his top.

A little splattering with BB Glimmer Spray, some old Basic Grey rubons and some stamping created this wee card.

My first attempt at colouring, not too bad ;)  Again Ive layered the top layer of the skirt to make it look fuller.  The chipboard here is Blue Fern Studios, just gessoed, stamped and inked.

This was one of the first ones I made.  the background is created with stencils and texture paste, with random stamping in two colours.  To create the depth to the dress I separated it from the bottom ruffle and added in another ruffle.  Her 'wings' are a butterfly die split in half to cover her back.

Lastly, is this card -  one of my favourites :)  This time on her wings Ive painted some BB Glitter Paste.

Til next time, thanks for popping by!
