Wildcard - BoBunny DT

Hi there!
February seems to have gone by in the blink of an eye and we're already half way through March!  Is it me or does time go faster the older you get?!  It sure seems that way :(  Ultimately February was a forgetable crafty month - I got nothing done, no mojo means no creativity.  I think the ply thing I got out of it was a degree in paper pushing! lol

Anyway, last weekend I went to retreat and scrapped up a storm, hard to believe I got so much done after such a previously dry month.
It would also appear that besides my addiction to dies and chipboard, I have thing for boxes!  And Typo ;) might have mentioned that before!  While I was pottering around in there last year, it was just before Fathers Day, I grabbed another wooden box, and then spied some pens shaped like tools and a plan started forming.  Course its taken til now to carry out said plan but there you go!

Ive painted the edges black and the insides as well, and layered Wild Card over the top.

The hinges are already on the box but the handles on the side I found at a shop in Rangiora called High Street Living - Im guessing you could find something similar in a recycling junk shop.

On the top on the box Ive randomly stamped with Stained Textures stamp to keep with the distressed look of the paper, before layering my tools on top.  Ive removed the nibs off the ends of the pens before  gluing them down.

The close up shows you some of the detail - that red bolt is actually a draw handle I found at High Street Living as well.  The number plate was a magnet I had found in the chuck out bin at a store.  And I bet you're wondering how I got it all to stick lol?! Helmar 450, brilliant stuff!

Heres the inside.  I wanted to keep this really simple so just covered it with "Bold"  and added some chipboard at the back.
The husband was very impressed and just quietly so am I ;)

Thanks for popping by, see you next time!
