Hi Everyone,
Its reveal day over at Cardabilities and five new beautiful cards picked as featured designers - there really is some absolutely stunning work submitted each month!
You can find the new sketch here.
This is my take on the sketch. Ive made this specifically for a close friend of mine who I have been lucky enough to work with as well, but changes are happening, and we all know how I hate change lol!!! She is moving to Dunedin, far too far away for my liking, plane ride or no plane ride!
One of her favourite colours is lime green and bright orange - Ive dug out my collection of BoBunny Lemonade Stand to make my flower cluster. The base paper is the new Chevron Double Dot, Ive just used the reverse side of it.
Because so many people from work will be signing this card, it folds out. When you open it this is what you see.
Fold that part open and you find all this space for people to write in. In case you're wondering I always decorate the inside as well, it provides a sturdy base so the card can sit upright without falling over from the weight on the front.
Thanks for popping by, don't forget to pop by Cardabilities and check out the new sketch!

The Mighty FORD Truck - BoBunny DT
Hi Everyone!
I seem to have been in this "I have heaps of time" bubble and now its four weekends I think til Christmas!!!! I had plans to make a few decorations this year and typically Im fast running out of time - it seems to be a yearly occurrence for me unfortunately! The shopping is done, just other things Ive been wanting to achieve that are not going as fast as I'd like :(
This project is one of those. I've had it banging round in my head for ages, well since the Wild Card collection came out. I wanted to alter a truck and then I found this little beauty in Mitre 10. A bit more than I wanted to spend on something to alter but it was so perfect I just got it!
The whole truck was just natural wood, and I've painted the main truck body black and the support structure of the deck. The head lights Ive made silver using BB pearlescents, worked a treat! The canopy is covered with Wild Card Shuffle and the doors have the garage emblem fussy cut from the same range of paper.
The truck is packed ready for a jolly good Christmas break, with presents, the tree, pinecones in the back for the campfire and the suitcases!
The suitcases were made using the Souvenir range - they're just little gift boxes that Ive covered. The straps and handles are made from cardstock. The presents are altered jewellery boxes, covered with the Altitude collection.
Before you ask, yes it is a FORD truck, it couldn't possibly be anything else or it wouldn't be allowed up the drive! ;)
Did you spy that little angel up on top of the tree? A few years ago I was part of secret santa swap and this was my present, completely handmade, little did I know at the time just how perfect she would be! Amanda is one clever lady :)
See you next time!

I Love My Dog!
I really do!! But she can be such a little minx at times :) Out of the two of them you could say she's caused the most trouble. Dougal was just about the perfect puppy, the only trouble he got into was deciding to chew on my sisters Agave plant and ended up drunk :( it turned out its the lead ingredient in tequila!! MacKenzie is another kettle of fish!
And yet she looks so angelic!! Don't be fooled! She can be so beautifully behaved but then its almost like she's had enough of perfect and little minx in her surfaces. She was the chewer, and even chilli powder didn't stop her! She also adores, positively ADORES food - I blame the mix of spaniel in her ;) Took me awhile to figure out she was using the furniture like an obstacle course, jumping from table to chair to bench to get to whatever she could. How did I figure that out? I found the wooden spatulas that sit in bin on the bench out in the backyard with the scrubbing brush and garbage guzzler lid! A bit of furniture moving happened and that behaviour has stopped.
And for some reason this photo loaded sideways?!! The cluster is made with a selection of dies and yes my favourite flower die :) The cream flower at the top of the picture is made with the smaller die, this time Ive cut two and pulled them into a smaller closed bud. The chipboard word is Blue Fern Studios I just inked black to make it stand out.
If you remember I can't sew to save myself so that stitching is a stamp - appropriately called Stitches ;)
Like the title says, she has bought us the best of memories, and even though she can be a little minx she always makes me smile at her antics - not that I let her catch me! and I wouldn't change a thing <3
The papers Ive used are a mixture of Somewhere in Time and Candy Cane Lane. If you pop on over to the BoBunny blog you can check out another layout Ive done using the same two collections, but completely different.
Heres a wee sneak peak:

Madeline - BoBunny DT
Last month I was asked if I could do something with a photo of a friends parents - they were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
I decided to use the lovely Madeline collection. I love the soft pinks of this collection, its fast become a favourite - I seem to say that about a lot of them lately ;)
To create my clusters Ive used lots of layers mixing in some of the Noteworthy range, with chipboard, blossoms and the new petals, and yes Ive made my favourite bloom again ;) I also popped in the new filmstrip - this stuff is the bomb!! LOVE it!!
A selection of brads, and jewels and a randomly stamped Distressed Textures stamp finished it off.
I popped it into a shadow box frame I found at the Warehouse and it was done, AND it went down like a treat :)
See you next time!
