Mixing Collections: BoBunny DT

Hello again :)

It might be winter but Im sitting here in sun as I type.  Its a gorgeous day here and about the only thing good that comes out of a frost!
Today I wanted to share I gift I made for a friends new baby.  I was asked to do a single letter but the letter I is so bland, no matter what font I get cut from my letter man, so I decided to do something different.  The letters this time are from Typo, and they're perfect because they can stand on their own!

I've mixed together two different paper collections, Garden Journal and Heritage, using the creams, yellows and greys from each.  This was also the colour scheme of her bedroom.

I've kept the decoration simple, making flowers with my favourite Spellbinders die and a new leafy die from Joy.  The bird cage is from BoBunny's Romance Stamp set.

Here Ive double cut the butterfly and layered them on top of each other - its one of BoBunny's new dies!

A little closeup of the flower cluster on the L :)

Every gift needs a card!  I matched the card to the gift using the same papers and colour scheme, with a little lace around the circles.

To date I have only heard from one of the winners from the Scrapbook Adhesives Blog Hop so if you're keen on some BoBunny goodness :)  leave me a comment and I will pick a new winner and will post worldwide :)

Til next time, enjoy that sun!
