Winners are grinners :)

Well the winner as been drawn from my Mothers Day post!  I'd just like to say thank you for all your lovely comments, I was actually quite touched, by some of your comments so thank you! :)

So without further ado, the overall winner is ............................................................................................

            Lainie!!!!

Now I also thought that because I can alter the rules a bit ;) Im going to give away two more RAKs.  One goes to Rachel for being my lovely sole follower from my post, and the other to Noriel for being the furtherest away - that would be Australia :)  Can you all email me or comment with your postage details please.

Now, other scrappy things.  Back in March I went to Finnbair's classes at Scrappin Patch and found it the hardest class Ive been to.  Not because it was awful, it was AMAZING! and the kit would have to be one of the most impressive Ive received from the small number of classes Ive been to in the same price range.  It was the techniques that got me completely out of my comfort zone - I mean, throwing teabags at your paper?!  apparently my face was a picture when she threw the first teabag lol :) Its a real messy, grungy technique that Finn teaches and if you know me, you know Im really a neat and tidy freak - lets not say the anal word here :) - and I think my scrapping is the same.  So I found this hard!, and by the end of the day I was worn out, but in a good man I can do this, my head hurts from information overload kinda way :)

So heres my first layout which I popped into a Prima frame, it was just so dimensional it was never going to fit in an album.  And yes lol this is the family :)

The second class was a journal, covering the front and back covers.  I chose not to put my journal back together instead I  went to the Warehouse and purchased a window box frame  to pop the front cover in, so now its hanging on the wall.  I had visions of the journal getting bumped around and things coming off which would in due course just piss me off so its framed and Im making a new cover for the journal :)

This class I loved, it was full of colour, techniques with stencils mediums, paints and sprays and new Prima yumminess - what is not to love?!  And I still have heaps of product that Ive been diving into :)

Thanks for popping by!

Your work from Finn's class looks amazing. Getting messy and grungy would have been out of my comfort zone also.
